A.Some Important Achievements of The Department of Pharmacology:

• Dr Preeti Yadav, a member of this department has been awarded Prestigious FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research) fellowship in February 2014 which is 2 year online course. It includes 2 residential contact sessions and completion of one curriculum innovation project. FAIMER is a nonprofit organization having a mission to promote international health professions education through programmatic and research activities.
• Rational drug prescription: Review of current trends and future implication.Dr. Ankit Vataliya, Government Medical College, Surat, Gujarat, India International Conference and Exhibition on Pharmacovigilance -Clinical Trial- 2014 Hydrabad

• Dr N.D.Kantharia, Head of department is acting as coordinator, Medical Education Unit since last 10 years. Under the chairmanship of Dean, Dr. R.Dikshit this college has trained highest number of faculties under faculty development Programme after Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad in Gujarat.
• Ex Professor and Head Dr. V.V.Kelkar of this department has won the prestigious B.C.Roy Award for his contribution in the field of basic science.
