Special Instructions to be followed by Candidates while reporting for Admission:-

As part of COVID-19 precautionary measures, only candidates are permitted to enter the Admission reporting area (Ground Floor-Library Building, Government Medical College, Majura Gate, Surat)

Candidates are requested to enter the covered parking area at Medical College library Building - Ground Floor where screening will be done.

Based on screening results, a clearance slip will be issued to the candidates which should be shown to the reporting staff in Admission Office.

Candidates must wear masks.

Candidates should bring their allotment letter, original certificates and proof of online fee payment/Cheque/D.D. and submit the same.

Candidates without original certificates/documents/payment proof shall not be allowed to take admission. Candidates should remit their first year course fees through online mode /Cheque/D.D. and proof of fee remittance should be submitted.

Reporting Time : 10.30 am to 04.00 pm (Admission Process will take one day duration)

Note: - Since admission process will take a day’s time, candidates are advised to report on time so that all the processes can be completed on the same day. Otherwise it will be extended to the next day.

As per MCC Notice Ref. U-12021/44/2019/48-MEC,Dated: 13-06-2020. Students who reported online during 1st Round also need to physically report and submit original documents during 16th June 2020 to 22nd June, 2020.

As per MCC notice Ref. U-12021/44/2019/51-MEC, Dated 16-06-2020 All the students of round 1 and 2 need to do physical reporting till 30-06-2020. Commencement of academic session of PG courses (Broad Speciality) for this year shall be from 1st July 2020, as per instruction from BOG (In supersession of MCI) as per Public Notice No.MCI-7 (10)/10/2020-Legal/10310/104393, Date 11.06.2020.

Students from outside of Gujarat, who come for reporting and cannot go back due to travel restriction/quarantine in their states, would be provided shared accommodation in the campus. Maintain social distance as recommended. 

Documents / Original Certificates to be Submitted on the Day of Reporting

1. Allotment Letter from DGHS

2. NEET – PG Score Card

3. NEET – PG Admit Card

4. MBBS Degree Certificate from the concerned University

5. Mark Sheets of MBBS Professional Examinations

6. Internship Completion Certificate (as per MCI norms)

7. Permanent / Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council (Provisional Registration Certificate is acceptable only in cases where candidate has finished internship in 2020)

8. High School / Higher Secondary Certificate / Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth

9. Candidate’s ID Proof - Aadhar and Pan Card

10.Passport size colour photographs – 5 Nos

11.Physical Disability Certificate (if applicable)

12.Caste Certificate (applicable to SC / ST / OEC/ OBC)

13. Non creamy layer certificate for OBC candidates

Copies of all certificates (one set)

Note :-

The above certificates mentioned in original are mandatory and have to be submitted to Admission Official at the time of reporting for admission.

Candidates reporting for admissions with incomplete list of the above documents will not be allowed to attend the admission procedure & will be rejected.

Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/College/University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute/College/University” shall not be allowed to take admission in the allotted Medical College.

Candidates are advised to keep with them a soft copy/hard copy of all the submitted documents for their future requirements.
